Not sure what to say?

Nancy and I were close during our years at Albany Med. We both wanted to pursue petriatrics. We lost contact after graduation. I have been looking for her all these years until I came across this shocking news. I'm devastated and heartbroken. There are many things I wanted to share with her , but now I forever can't. I'm so deeply sorry for your loss.

I am heart broken to hear of the loss of Nancy. We grew up together. We were classmates and shared many after-school activities. Nancy was brilliant, sweet, kind, and she had a beautiful smile. I will never forget her! I am sending my heart-felt condolences to her family and friends. Nancy will be greatly missed!

I will also read your posts at the Remembrance.

I was so lucky to go to med school with Nancy at Albany Medical College. She was way more mature and funny than most of us, having had a previous career as a hospital administrator. For those of us struggling during the first year Nancy was always there putting things in perspective and focused on her dreams of becoming a pediatrician.

Many of us did not know she was sick, and I wish I had the opportunity to thank her for her friendship, humor and being a role model during medical...

Nancy was a good friend to me during medical school, she was inspirational and fun to be around. She was a great running buddy and a wonderful person to be around. I am so sorry for your loss.

Nancy was a wonderful classmate at AMC. Always showed respect for her patients and classmates. She was fun to be around. I'm sorry for your loss.

This is super sad news to learn this morning- I am so heartened to hear that her nieces were able to enjoy so much time with her. My husband was in medical school with Nancy and I still hold her up on a pedestal as a model for pursuing dreams and making positive changes at any stage of life. I always will. Sending love to all who are touched by this loss. I hold you in my heart. ~Audrey Bromberg Hyvonen
