It was always nice to visit the library at Caledonia Middle School (aka: Kraft Meadows) because one would know that Nancy would be there to greet you with a big smile. She was a very focused person and Nancy always had great input at our weekly Team Meetings no matter the topic of discussion. Losing my sister Nancy has been a huge blow to all of our family. Nan and I were close all our lives, sharing memories growing up that included family camping in Canada, the bears at Bear Head Lake, canoe trips and beach days at Grand Haven. Later in life, Nan and my wife Joanne became very close, too--she was like a sister to Joanne.
