Nancy Lynn Piller, 51, of North Platte, passed away Saturday, June 20, 2009, at her home.
She was born Feb. 12, 1958 in Durango, Colo. to Clifford and Donna Walker. She was united in marriage to Gregg Piller on May 11, 1977 and they made their home in North Platte where she was employed at Culligan Water.
Nancy was a faithful follower of Christ and an active member of Harvest Christian Fellowship. She was a mother to all who knew her, and was known for her unending selfless compassion and empathy for others.
Survivors include her husband Gregg of North Platte; her son Joshua (Amber) Piller of Omaha; two daughters, Michelle (Keith) Chavez of Westminister, Colo. and Andrea (Ricky) Alvarado of North Platte; mother, Donna (Donald) Turner of Opelika, Ala.; father Clifford (Morreen) Walker of Westminster, Colo.; seven grandchildren, Samulle Stout, Rhaeanna, Cassandra, and Gregg Chavez, Gabriel and Selena Alvarado, and Nehemiah Piller; brothers, Randy (Diane) Walker of Gothenburg, and Rick (Nicki) Turner of St. Louis, Mo., sisters, Karen (Vernon) Owens of Kennewick, Wash., Karlene (Tom) Turkington of Opelika, Ala., Lynda (Kerry) Laird of Westminister, Colo. and Cindy (Dave) James of Denver, Colo.
She was preceded in death by her infant son Isaiah.
Services will be at 11 a.m. today, at Harvest Christian Fellowship Church. A memorial has been established in her memory. Online condolences may be shared at carpentermemorial.com.
