I had Mrs Pollard for 10th grade English class at Mandeville HS. She was a good teacher, but a better person. She always was kind in her "suggestions" for improvement in your writings (and I needed many). I actually talked with her a few weeks ago when I was trying to track down MHS faculty. We had a very nice visit. RIP, Mrs. P
