Nancy J. Puetz

Nancy was a student in the first braille class I taught in Lansing and a founding member of the Onlooker Transcribing Group. We worked together teaching, transcribing, and attending meetings to improve our skills. I missed her greatly when she and Leonard sold the farm and moved to Iowa. Our love of braille was only one of the things we shared.

Nancy and Barb and I were in the braille group together. We enjoyed it and each other so much. We exchanged Christmas cards until a year or so ago so we kept in touch until fairly recently. I know you all will miss her. Carol Derks
