Nancy Lou Redman

Memorial services for Nancy l. Redman, age 89, of Tyler, will be held Saturday August 9, 2025, at 1;00 pm at Jackson’s Burks Walker Tippit with Reverend John Redman officiating. Visitation will be held from 12:00 to 1:00 PM at the funeral home, prior to the service.

Inurnment will follow at Rose Lawn Cemetery in Tyler under the direction of at Jackson’s-Burk-Walker-Tippit

Nancy passed away on Sunday, June 29,2025 at her home surrounded by her family.  Nancy was born on December 7, 1935 in San Jose California to Mirian and Thomas Brady.  

Nancy married John P. Redman Jr. on June 27, 1954.  She was a member of Eastern Star and a civilian servant from 1969-1991, for which she was awarded the Navy Meritorious Civilian Service Award.

Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, John P. Redman Jr. and son-in-law, Samual E. Fields.  Nancy is survived by daughter, Pamela Fields; son, John Redman III and wife Elizabeth Redman; granddaughters, Samantha Fields, Katherine Redman, Erin Gilliand and Sabrina Fields; grandsons-in-law, Kyle Thompson and Nicklaus Gilliand; great-grandchildren, Willow and Jack Gilliand; sister, Gail Klis; and brother, James Brady.
