Nancy E. Rudy

I met Nancy Rudy through Women in Communications, Seattle Chapter many years ago. We became good friends 10 years ago and I have such great memories of all we did together. Nancy was a class act--elegant and dignified always. I enjoyed attending UW Husky football games with Nancy and other events at UW. I miss our long talks and special lunches. Rest in Peace, dear Nancy. You were a great friend.

I always enjoyed talking with Nancy at our Way Out Theta events, so interesting and involved in helping others. I hold her in highest regard and will miss her dearly.

Nancy was a past state president of the Washington Journalism Education Association and remained active after she left teaching to enter administration. She continued to chair WJEA's scholarship committee and judge state contests. She had many friends and admirers in WJEA and will be remembered fondly by her colleagues.

Nancy was an elegant lady with many talents. She shared her elegance and talents with many. I was privileged to know her through our shared membership in Kappa Alpha Theta. Thank you, Nancy, for all the ways your shining example inspired so many in so many ways.

Miss Rudy was pivotal in my education. She was my teacher and advisor in journalism at Tyee High School in the late 70's. My experience in her class motivated me in my writing, and in pursuing accounting and business practices. She was a wonderful teacher and influence.

Nancy was a lovely, charming woman who was a joy to have in book discussion groups. She will be missed by all her friends.
