Not sure what to say?

I could not think of a statment that better summarizes a fullfilled live: Quote Shortly before her death, she said that she had done everything that she had wanted to do. She felt that it was important to give way to succeeding generations. Unquote. May Nancy rest in preace!

I'm so sad to hear of Nancy's passing. I was friends with her son Carlos in elementary school, and often went to their house. I always remember Nancy as just being a nice lady and never knew how brilliant she was. Strange that I've also lived in Austin Texas, Switzerland where I learned Swiss German and Austria, the same places she had been. Her facility for mathematics and languages is truly amazing. I always wanted to visit her an Carlos again but now I've missed my chance. My dad's also...

As former President & GM of Geobrugg North America, I would like to extend condolences to Nancy's friends and family from all of us at Geobrugg North America, based here in New Mexico. Nancy did a lot of translating of documents for us from Swiss German to English and was a tremendous help to us. A pleasure working with her!

As former Director of Marketing of the Swiss Company Geobrugg Ltd. I would like, in the name of all my colleagues who worked with Nancy, to express our sincere condolecense to Bob and the family. It has been a great pleasure to have worked with Nancy through many years of translating the Geobrugg staff magazine "Der Heisse Draht". Unforgetable her contribution explaining to the readers the different Xmas traditions of Santa Fe together with nice pictures. It was a honour for all of us to...

As President of the Santa Fe Women's Ensemble's board and its singers, I want to express our deep gratitude for the generous spirit that Nancy brought to our chorus. Her love of singing was evident as she served as an usher and volunteered for other behind-the-scene contributions. It was a pleasure to know her, and we will miss her. We hope that the high regard in which we hold Nancy brings comfort to her family and friends.

My condolences to Bob, Carlos and all who loved Nancy. I sang with her in the symphony chorus, but I particularly enjoyed singing with her in "the clown chorus" that sang in the nursing homes. We had fun singing and dressing as clowns and always enjoyed Nancy's singing and ukulele playing. Nancy had a lovely voice. Not only did she sing with the clowns, but Bob and Nancy also provided their home for rehearsals. We had wonderful times rehearsing and had great conversations with Nancy and Bob....

My sincere condolences to Bob and Carlos and Nancy's extended family. I met Nancy Ruiz in 1997 through the New Mexico Translators and Interpreters Association (NMTIA) and had the pleasure of leading a workshop with her, working with her on the NMTIA directory and website over the years and seeing her at various NMTIA social events. I fondly remember having lunch and visiting the New Mexico History Museum with Nancy to see the Karl May exhibition in 2013. Her interest in everything German was...

Oh Nancy, we will miss you. You were both brilliant and down to earth. It was a pleasure to know and sing with you at Santa Fe Community College.
