Not sure what to say?

Nancy and i worked together at UCLA for 14 years. She was a treasured collegue and more importantly a friend. She tirelessly dedicated her life to her work, family and friends never asking for anything in return. Whenever someone was having a difficut time in their life, Nancy was always there to lend support, helping hand or just listen. When my husband and I purchased our first home, Nancy was the first person to offer to help us move. She was always trying to help others. I learned a lot...

Thank you Nancy for that talk you had with me. It made me feel so much better when i was feeling pretty terrible. I wont forget....RIP

Nancy was my director for several years in the CRU @ UCLA - she not only was very dedicated to her work, but was one of the first people to volunteer to come out and help me paint my first house, and can still remember that day. She helped me a lot when my father passed away, and was very supportive when I decided to change my career path to something other than research. She will be missed.

I remember when Nancy first came to UCLA when the Clinical Research Unit was in its early beginnings. She was bright and full of ideas. She worked tirelessly, many timess late into the midnight hours and rarely took time off for vacations. She was dedicated to ensuring that Dr. Slamon's vision for the Clinical Research Unit came into fruition. As a result of her hard work, patients are now able to receive the same cancer treatments in their local communities given at UCLA without having to...

Nancy was a tireless and resilient leader. She and I met when she became the Director of the UCLA Research Network many years ago. The Network was in its infancy, and on the way to becoming the wave of the future in community cancer research. Nancy took to the position and it's challenges without hesitancy. She worked more than anyone in the Network, and we all worked plenty. Nancy and I had spoken in recent times about how proud we were to be associated with such great research. In the early...

My cousin Nancy was a delightful and dedicated person. We worked together on the family history project over many years, beginning as virtual strangers and ending as great friends in the process. All of us are so very grateful for what she did in furtherance of our family's genealogy, and more importantly for being the catalyst that brought so many family members back in touch with one another. She kept all of us in her heart, never letting go of us. Hers is quite a legacy. Nancy and I lived...

My memories of Nancy are wonderful memories. Nancy was an inspiration as my director. She worked more than any of us. She was the pulse of our department. She was dedicated to her work and seemed to not sleep as I would receive e-mails from her sent at 2 am, 3 am, 4 am. She was full of spunk and energy and was as sharp as a tack. When there were problems she would listen for a while and she had a gift of filtering through a tall tale and addressing the person directly. When someone made...
