Not sure what to say?

MIKE - MY SYMPATHIES GO OUT TO YOU AND THE REST OF YOUR FAMILY. I WILL NEVER FORGET NANCY'S LAUGH, HER SMILE AND HER SENSE OF HUMOR. WE HADN'T TALKED MUCH OVER THE PAST YEARS BUT WHEN WE DID I WAS ALWAYS REMINDED THAT SHE WAS TRULY A VERY SPECIAL WOMAN.

It was a great representtion of just how awesome Nancy was meeting so many special folks here in Rock Island today (2/10). I always knew she rocked - plain and simple since I first met her when I was a snot-nosed kid in the late 60's. As a relative of N's, I know that Knanushus as a bread are top notch - she was one of the best - the real deal. My prayers and thoughts to all who knew and loved her - especially Joel and Tim & Mike, Brit and Haley in CO.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome...

Some of my best memories from junior high are of Nancy. She had the best sense of humor and the most unique voice and laugh of anyone I've ever known. I always enjoyed being in classes with her because it was never dull and always fun. I regret not staying in touch over the years, but from all that I've read here today, she sounds like she grew to be a fabulous woman and a great mom. I know it's always hardest for those left behind, so my prayers go out to her family and close friends.

Memorial Service in Rock Island. All of the entries are greatly appreciated as well as moving. Your kind words, support and sharing are very gratifying. Thank you all so much for taking the time to honor a very special person. So many have asked and so there will be a memorial service in Rock Island on Saturday 10 February at 1:00pm at St. John's Lutheran Church. A gathering of family and friends will take place after the service at Rexie's Gourmet House.
Thanks again for all of your...

Mike, Brittany and Haley. We are very sorry to hear about Nancy. We know that she is still with us all in our hearts. She will be missed but she is now your angel and will watch over you all. Please let us know if you need anything. God bless your family. You are always in our prayers.

I had not seen Nancy for many years yet I can still hear that wonderful laugh that could fill a room and lift your spirits. My deepest sympathy to Mike and the entire family.

Mike, it seems like yesterday when you and Nancy were a part of our everyday lives. Please know that I think of your family often and that my prayers are with you and the girls. I know you will find strength from your years of love and memories. Debbie, Ryan, and Devon

Hayley - and Mike & Brit; I was speechless when I read of your loss in the newspaper. I did not know your mother well, but my few conversations with her left nothing to the imagination about how she felt about you girls. She loved you very much. I have no idea what happened to this wonderfully nice lady, I can only assume from reading the other guest book entries. I am sorry for your loss.
