Nancy and I started out as new nurses together on a med/surgery unit. We were older than the other new grads and had enough sense to know we didn't know anything! We worked nights and brought our nursing books in and looked everything up. We discussed the patients and shared our knowledge with each other She was very bright and I have enjoyed knowing her for all these years. My condolences to her family and other friends as I know she will be sorely missed.
