Not sure what to say?

I had the pleasure of knowing Nancy for a short time last year while we prepared her new native garden, which I must have planted just after her passing. I hope it will be enjoyed by family, friends and neighbors, she was a lovely person to work with and I wish she could have enjoyed the garden she worked hard to plan.

Nancy was a serious, dedicated and hard-working volunteer for Sierra Club and for our environment. Everyone I know who meet her liked and admired her. Her death is a loss to all of us.

Nancy's Sierra Club activities were not limited to helping to protect the environment, she also enjoyed being out in nature and sharing that with others. If it wasn't for Nancy leading Sierra Club backpack trips to Isle Royale National Park and Grand Island in Lake Superior, I would not have had the opportunity to have the excellent experience enjoying those backpack trips. I am thankful to have known Nancy.

I am so sorry to see this, so much respect for her. Anytime that there were questions when giving the MEAP/Standardized testing, she was the districts guru. Such a kind and pleasant demeanor. She was in my golf league as well. Much sympathy now and in coming days.

I enjoyed Nancy´s company during the time I studied, lived and worked in Ann Arbor. My wife Margaret Mc Niven and I would go with Nancy to University of Michigan football and baseball games as well as Detroit Tiger baseball games. She was as knowledgeable about sports as she was about environmental issues. When Margaret and I moved to Sydney Australia we continued to see Nancy whenever we visited Michigan. She always brought us up to date with what was happening in Michigan and USA politics...

Nancy was a dedicated research analyst. I always respected her work; she had so much integrity. She offered insight and guidance that could be trusted. Her skills certainly translated well to the Sierra Club. My sympathies to her family.

Nancy and I were friends in the Michigan Chapter of the Sierra Club. Nancy was always someone I could go to with a question and get a good honest answer. We went many years together to Sierra Club Lobby Day in Lansing and had good conversations up and back. I have good memories of a fine , caring person who devoted her life and resources for the betterment the world environmental issues. Rest in Peace ,Nancy.
