Not sure what to say?

Oh my... how do I describe my friendship with this amazing lady! I met Nancy in 1979 when we both worked in Patent law at Upjohn. We became fast friends and I moved into her little rental house on Centre Street in 1980. We bowled together for several years on the Upjohn league, met and shared many fun friends and had adventures that I´ll treasure forever. Nancy was so kind, so fun, so thoughtful and compassionate, absolutely adored her girls and truly one of the very best people I´ve had in...

I met Nancy about 8 years ago What attracted me to Nancy would be pages long I will begin with her warmth Nancy was hospitable and professional Nancy was Christlike because she saw my needs and quietly and thoughtfully encouraged PEO to consider helping me financially. Nancy took the opportunity and had a few ladies over for tea to just catch up. When her daughter died she gave myself and my household so many needed items that were available. What a beautiful lady whose thoughtful qualities...

Nancy's family, No doubt you have felt the love that went with your Mother wherever she went or whomever she met. We first met Nancy in Bible study during the Pandemic by Zoom through Chapel Hill. Even through the computer, she exuded warmth, caring, and friendship for everyone she met. Nancy has been greatly missed after she moved to be with her daughters earlier this year. Our sympathies are with you all. God Bless, Stan and Jane Smeed

We met back in 1978 while Kay and I were in high school. It was a crazy, fun and hard time for me but Nancy always welcomed me in and was a great friend. She taught me about tolerance, and the ability to be able to have a difference of opinion yet care for the other person. She always had a smile on her face and a kind word for everybody. Traits that live on in me. My mom and dad always said "Keep a smile on your face, no matter what you face" and I believe that generation had many many...

What a wonderful lady! We were friends for a short time but I will never forget her. She was especially a marvelous support to me when my husband was dying, and always helped me to laugh.

I met Nancy and Karen as patients and became friends. She was such a kind, caring, calming person, I learned a lot from her over the years. She lived a fulfilled life and was an example of how we should live our lives.

I can't remember just when I first met Nancy, but my guess would be over 40 years ago through my brother Brian Walters and brother-in-law Steve Hodges. Kindness personified, with an ever present smile, Nancy was a beautiful human being and I am so very grateful to have shared this earthly life with her.
