Nancy was devoted to her husband, Bob and family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She was an active member of the Community Baptist Church in Somerville.  She loved and cherished her time at the cottage in Ocean Park, ME working with the Educational Bureau and painting ceramics that Bob made and having arts and crafts classes to all the vacationing children throughout the summer.  She even loved to run the Craft Fairs on the Curtis Lawn or doing the International Dinners at the Rec Hall.  Her friends meant so much to her and just about everyday she would be hanging out on her porch to say hi to anybody that just walked by. She was the greeter of Colby Avenue.  She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Due to COVID-19 Funeral Services will be held privately.

Not sure what to say?

I was so very saddened to learn of Nancy's passing in the Bell Tower's recent publication. What a truly wonderful friend she was to me and everyone she knew. Such a dedicated lady to the Educational Bureau running the many fairs, the arts and crafts classes over the years, and doing the International Dinners, etc. I will never forget the fashion shows at the Temple with the Dutchmaid clothing and local dress shop fashions. Nancy was completely devoted to her family including Bob, her...

Dear Leslie, Tony & family,
So very sorry to hear of your mom's (mother-in-law's, grandmother's) passing.

We love and will miss you!!! Rip! Now your at peace with Dad!!!

So sorry to hear of your mom's passing, and she will be missed by many. May your memories be a comfort to you all.

Nancy was all about the children of Ocean Park and how she could make their summers enjoyable and help them learn a craft, whether it was ceramics, t-shirts, working a table at the bizarre, etc. She was a memorable figure and someone that my kids, Evelyn and Jimmy have fond memories of. She helped make their summers fun when they were young and looking for things to do. Rest in peace Nancy.

Nancy was certainly an icon in Ocean Park. She will always be remembered As a person who made Ocean Park a wonderful community. Sympathies to all of her family.

So sorry to see this... Colby Ave. friends will hold and cherish memories of wonderful visits with Nancy. ❤

Just an awesome lady!
