I remember when I found out about my dear friend it was 3 years later I had been calling her and calling her and I couldn't understand why she didn't answer my heart was beyond broken because we went to high school together and college together and she was my son God's mother she was there when he was born she was there with me through all the heartbreaks and everything I am so heartbroken my dear friend I love you Mellisa.

There aren't too many days that I don't think about you since you have been gone. Today is one of those days because it is or around your birthdate. Praying for your eternal peace young soul and that we will see you on the brighter side.

Remembering you on this day! How fast time has moved on yet your memories remain in my ❤. I pray for your family and that the peace of God will continue to keep them strong knowing you're at rest and it's not the end.

You were such an extraordinary young lady and a good friend to Marilyn and so many others. I will always remember your giggle and the many times you shared with us. One day we will see you again on the brighter side. Keep watching over us in heaven?

I dont know where too start.. My heart is so heavy right now, my name is Mellisa Thornton and I met nancy at A&M we became friend there and we road home together all the time. we sat in the dorm room,talked on the phone day and night.. she was with me all the way doing the birth of my first child and named her self as the god mother..I'm so lost... I had been calling her and I never got a reply... Nancy you where a deargood friend to me in all my times.. I have cried on your shoulder like you...

Nancy was one of my first friends in junior high. She had the greatest personality and I will never remember all of the laughs we shared. She accomplished so much and we should all be proud to have known such an inspiring young lady.
