I am one of Nancy's child hood friends. She was a member of the court gang (where we hung out on Rockland Road Ct) We did all the typical things as children would do. From sliding down McKeowns Hill in the winter to playing Hide and seek in the woods. We had fun. Lots of it.

Nancy was always a caring person who had forgiveness in her heart. I mean real true forgiveness. Nancy made me laugh and her laugh made everyone laugh, she was such a good sport.

I only met Nancy once, just recently, when she volunteered at a homeless shelter for families in Southbridge. After a short converstation, we realized that I am living in her brother's old house on Paul Street in Auburn. After talking with her, I had every intention of inviting her and her family to our home. I am struck by the random conections we make on this quick journey on this Earth. Nancy & I were best friends starting in the third grade. After school it was over her house one day, over my house the next. From sleepovers to playing dolls, magic 8-ball, watching Major Mudd to our pet guinea pigs - the memories are endless and I'll cherish them all. We lost touch after high school but got close again.
