Nancy A. Szarama

Nancy A. Szarama, 92, of Jeannette, passed away Friday, Feb. 6, 2009, in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital at Jeannette. She was born Jan. 3, 1917, in Manor, a daughter of the late Steve and Barbara Dzurbel Semzic. Nancy was a member of Sacred Heart Church, Jeannette. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Frank A. Szarama, in 1998; a grandson, David Watkins; and two sisters, Mary Ferry and Ann Combetti. She is survived by her children, Ronald Szarama, of Virginia, Nancy Gesner and husband Lawrence, Darlene Levino and Bonnie Watkins, all of Irwin; grandchildren, Ronald, Judy, James, Florence, Matthew, David, Ashley, Renee, Michael and Kimberly; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday in the JOHN V. GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME INC., 228 N. Second St., Jeannette. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Sacred Heart Church with Father John M. Foriska as celebrant. Interment will follow in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont.
