Nancy Thomas

Nancy and I became best friends when she moved to the house two doors down from ours in 1956.I still miss her.

Recently I was looking through our family album and there were many pictures of Nancy in it. It was wonderful to remember all the great times from our childhood and beyond.

I am so sorry to hear of Nancy's passing. Nancy was a spectacular woman. In all my years of cross country I never once saw Nancy without a smile on her face. Her attitude toward a happy life was contagious. I don't think I will ever meet a more generous and caring woman than Nancy. This world has lost a tremendous woman, but God has gained a beautiful angel. You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Mr. Thomas & Family, We were so sorry to hear of your wife's passing. You and your wife were so kind to Eddie in his years of track at Sparta. We never could wait to see the great pictures on the web site after the meets. You both are special people to us. Our prayers are with you and your family at this sad time.

I wondered why I hadn't seen any recent "likes" or posts on Facebook. After many years apart we had finally reconnected. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family John. She will be remembered and missed...
