The Peace Hospice Team wishes to express our sincere condolences to Nancy’s family and friends. We are honored that we could provide care and companionship to Nancy and her family on her final journey. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

Nancy, I thought the world of you. I enjoyed having you as my boss, but also as my dear friend. You always treated me with kindness and consideration. You gifted me many years ago with a down comforter than has comforted me these past difficult years. My daughter has always brought it to me in the hospital or rehab center. I will always miss you. Fondly, Kay Braulik

It was a great pleasure to co-chair CAGGNI's first-ever conference, GeneaQuest, with Nancy. We had a lot of fun and delivered a very well-received, professional conference. GeneaQuest 2020, our 4th biennial conference, was held just this past weekend. We are all missing Nancy's smile and zest for everyone and for genealogy. All the best to the family.

The photo is GeneaQuest 2014, with Sandi Trapp, Nancy Thomas, myself, and headline speaker Thomas MacEntee.

Nancy will be missed in CAGGNI. Nancy led many activities and she was my immediate predecessor as President. Her contributions to genealogy have served to stimulate my own interest in the subject. Nancy was also interested in Irish genealogy which happens to overlap with some of my own ancestors.

For the few years I have been a member of the DCGS, Nancy was an admired member by so many. A tireless worker, she added so much to the organization and its members. We will miss her.

I so enjoyed working with Nancy in the DuPage County Genealogical Society and when I would encounter her in the community, especially the pool at Wheaton Sportscenter. She will be greatly missed. I know how much she enjoyed her time with her grandchildren. Rest in peace, Nancy

Offering our deepest condolences during this difficult time.

Deepest sympathy as you honor a life well lived and a woman well loved.

I so very much enjoyed being a Genealogist with Nancy - she is extra, extra, extra SPECIAL!
