Nancy Townley

I've had Nancy on my mind recently so finding this today makes me think that there is something out there when our time comes. Whatever I add will come off sounding goofy. I keep her in my thoughts and prayers. There will always be good memories of Nancy.

I have known Nancy since she became a dietitian. We were in the same dietetic internship at OSU Hospital. In past years I worked with Nancy on several dietetics efforts. I have not seen her in recent years, but obviously she has continued work in several areas. I extend my sympathy to Nancy's husband and family.

Meeting Mrs. Townley is like meeting a friend you have had for years. She always made you feel welcomed. My Grandchildren, her great grandchildren, are lucky to have known her. I am sorry for the loss but I am glad we have another angel in heaven.

Nancy was the most grounded person I've ever known. I know I speak for all the classmate of Worthington, class of '53. From the Village of Worthington we've scattered throughout the world but Nancy was our link, thru e-mails we learned the news of our old friends As the years went on, the news of new babies changed to the loss of a spouse or even the loss of a classmate. So now,...during this sad time, we all will feel the loss of this gracious, serene and lovely lady, our friend, Nancy....

We are praying for all of you today, Diane and John! May the peace of Jesus be with you. We are so sorry for your loss.
