Before I moved to Independence about 5 years ago, my church, Troutville Church of The Brethren, was very active in supporting the Gideons' mission. We shall sorely miss a Gideon such as Nancy was, but we also know that she has now received her Heavenly reward of everlasting life in the House of The Lord.

My mother was a good friend of Mrs. Nancy. Mary Tyson. I can remember spending time with her when we were young. She helped my mom through some difficult times (divorce), being a friend she could count on. Mom went to see here a couple of weeks ago and she is so thankful she did. She was a wonderful lady!
