Having been blessed as having the Von De Burs' as neighbors on Vassar Lane and knowing the strength that all of you have had through these last many years with Nancy's illness - please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. Bob, Kurt, Sue, and Family,
We can all be happy that our beloved Nancy no longer suffers and is at peace. Words can not express the sorrow that we have for all of you. Our prayers continue for all of your family. As one of the old Vassar Lane neighbor(s) and being one of the first (non-family) baby sitters for Kurt and Sue, I was always grateful that Nancy and Bob selected me for that duty. While Bob, was always in a hurry to get the car warm and depart, Nancy always wanted to ensure that there was not only food and drink for me but that I was comfortable with the children before she left the house. Nancy was a very patient person that enjoyed family and friends. May you all continue to treat each other in the manner that Nancy did so well.

Nancy Von De Bur touched our lives briefly as the wife of our classmate but her goodness left an imprint that stayed with us. As her suffering is ended by our caring God may you also feel His caring for all of you . Blessings uncountable!
