Nancy Margaret Waterman

I'm so thankful to Nancy Waterman for many special memories and for two of my best childhood friends, Candace & Sue. She was a great stand-in mom whenever needed to so many of us Hernwood kids, her door was always open. I'll remember her always as one gutsy, strong-willed woman. Whenever I think of her though, I'll hear that laugh - she had the greatest, loud, most unforgettable laugh...right up there with Lucille Kelly's!

Ms. Nancy Waterman was a second mother to me-not just because I grew up with Candace (Waterman) Tippett, and around her other 5 siblings,but because
I felt like another kid of Dr. & Mrs. Waterman.I was often there for breakfast, lunch, dinner and sleep-overs. Nancy Waterman took care of me for extended periods of time,when my own parents went out of town. She was great! She will be forever in my thoughts.

I am grateful for the times your mom assisted my mom, whether in car pools, watching kids, or just with friendly company. We will never know how those little moments of friendship improved the lives of our families, but I'm sure your mom's love for mine helped a lot. Take care Waterman children. My thoughts are with you.

What sad news. Your mom was a great friend to our family and especially to my mom. What great times and memories from our Hernwood days! I know she is greatly missed already.

I just got the news last night. So sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. My thoughts go out to Eric, Tod, Sue, Candace, Chris, and Amy. The Hernwood crowd lost a charter member and a good friend.
