Swartz Funeral Home - Flint Obituary

Weiler, Nancy Lynn - Of Flushing, age 56, died Friday, March 11, 2022 at Country View Manor.

Nancy was born in Flint, Michigan on May 30, 1965, the daughter of the late Robert Lee and Lorraine Lucille (West) Weiler.

Nancy was a spirited and beautiful young lady; full of life, love and laughter. She loved to dance, and as anyone who knew her would agree, she talked nonstop. She was a free spirit.

Nancy was involved in a car accident in 1991 which left her with a traumatic brain injury, never to be the Nancy her loved ones once knew. She adapted to her new life and always had a strong, fighting spirit.

Nancy settled into her new home at Country View Manor where she was treated with dignity, respect and was loved by all staff members as if she were their own family. She no longer could speak verbally but she spoke through her facial expressions and through her eyes.

Surviving are siblings, Carol Pilon, Douglas Hazel, Timothy Hazel, Richard Weiler, Kathleen Weiler, Marianne Campbell, Thomas Weiler and Debra Pope; several nieces, nephews, uncles, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and favorite brother, Ronald Weiler. She is now with them in great company, smiling, dancing and talking once again.

A very special thank you to all the staff at Country View Manor especially her phenomenal nurse, Chris Patrick and special aide, Andrea Ewell, who were her guardian angels on earth in Nancy's final few months of her life. These ladies will never be forgotten for the love and support they provided.

Cremation has taken place and no services will be provided.
