Nancy West (née Isselmann) died unexpectedly from sudden cardiac arrest on June 17. Nancy was born on April 14, 1979, in Media, Pa. She was raised in Wallingford, Pa and resided there at the time of her death.
She is survived by her husband, Jeff, and daughters, Julia and Clara; her parents, Peg and John Isselmann; her siblings Jack Isselmann (Erin), Marie Curran (Patrick), and Katie DiSantis (Ron); her sister-in-law Laura Augusto (Robert) and brother-in-law Richard West (Lindsay), her nieces and nephews: Amy, Carly, Samantha, Megan, Luciana, Joseph, Lidia, Gracie, Charlotte, Drew, Grant and Nolan; many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and colleagues and her dog, Sonny. Nancy is predeceased by her parents-in-law Martha (Marti) and Carl Michael West, Aunt Clara West, Uncle John McGovern, her grandparents John & Peg McGovern and Edward & Marie Isselmann, and her dog Roxy.
She filled rooms with joy and fun as a child, earning her a theme song about her "crazy dance.” Nancy's joy for life continued into adulthood, where her sense of humor brought life to all events. Nancy was reliable and loyal to family, friends, colleagues, and neighbors. She was hardworking and smart, able to solve any problem that someone brought to her and did so with a calm and caring demeanor that put you at ease.
Nancy was the best mother, wife, daughter and sister to her family. She loved every second of life with Jeff, Julia and Clara. She cared for her daughters and husband most lovingly; they were the center of her world. She also adored dogs, with a special affection for beagles.
Nancy loved vacations in Wolfeboro, NH, with Jeff and their girls. She loved times at the Jersey shore with family and friends. She loved the offerings of the Bravo network, Andy Cohen productions, Oprah, and the Golden Girls. She loved walks in Wallingford and times at the pool. Nancy led party planning at work, and her cookies were an expected item. She loved being a doting aunt. She embraced her Irish heritage and was a loyal Phillies and Eagles fan. She loved New Orleans.
Nancy graduated from Saint Joseph’s University with a Bachelor of Science degree and worked in the insurance industry for over 20 years.

Friends and family are invited to a visitation Friday evening, June 23rd, from 5-9 p.m. at Rigby Harting & Hagan Funeral Home, 15 E. Fourth St. Media, PA. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, 11 a.m. at Nativity BVM, 30 E. Franklin St., Media, PA. Please note there will not be visitation hours prior to mass on Saturday. Interment will be private. In memory of Nancy's vibrancy, her family encourages visitors to attend with colorful attire.
