Not sure what to say?

Nancy and I are sisters but she was much more to me. She looked after me all the while I was growing up and got me up for school every morning and made my breakfast and made sure I was off for school. She always had the mom instinct but even more she was my best friend. We always went everywhere together and took vacations together. I think about her every day and truly miss her being here.

I will miss my Mimi. I know she will be watching over me from Heaven.

Nancy was like a second Mom to me growing up. I was most certianly the lucky one! She touched so many lives with her positive and inspirational spirit. Nancy was always a joy to be around and her smile was contagious! She will be missed by all that had the opportunity to know and love her!

Nancy was a great mother, sister, daughter, and grandmother. Her sense of humor and optimism never faded. I will truly miss her attitude and her positive words of wisdom that we would discuss. She will be missed, but never forgotten. I value the laughs that we had even during some down times. We will always have our personal joke of her being my favorite mother in law and me being her favorite son in law. She will be missed, and I feel fortunate to be touched with her grace for the time I...

Dear family,
I am so sad to hear this news. I have always loved Nancy like my own family. My memories of Nancy go back in time to Spring Branch High School, slumber parties, double dating, Saturday night at the movies downtown, dancing in the living room, cruising around in my convertible, and seeing her sweet smile singing in the choir on Sunday mornings at our church. Nancy and I had miles of fun together and I will remember her always and her beautiful smile, her delightful sense of...

I was so sad to hear of Nancy's death and to realize that so many years had passed since we had spent time together. But, oh what memories I have of Nancy, her laugh, her kindness and her love for her family. Her friendship was such an important part of my life as a single mom, and we shared the joy of watching Caroline and her precious friend Becky grow into beautiful young women. I know that Nancy lives on in her children and grandchildren. It was a real joy knowing her. My love to all of you.

Oh, what wonderful memories I have of our younger days at Fulbright over 40 years ago, and the decades and decades of friendship and laughter that developed from that meeting.
I remember the sadness of the day she called to tell me about her illness, but I also remember the happiness and admiration I had for Nancy with each challenge she so courageously overcame with the support of Shirley, Becky, Brian and her loving family. We are all so very lucky to have had Nancy in our lives!

I worked close to Nancy when I was at Fulbright & Jaworski during the 70's and early 80's and have kept in contact ever since. I remember that Nancy was always happy and a joy to be around. I cannot remember that she ever said negative things about anyone. I am so grateful that I will see her again in Heaven, with Jesus. This is such a comfort and lessens our pain in losing her.

I worked with Nancy at Fulbright & Jaworski in the 1970s and always admired her positive attitude and willing smile. She was a joy to be around. I last saw Nancy, by chance, in 1997 while shopping. She greeted me with her wonderful smile. I will certainly miss knowing I can no longer contact Nancy but I am positive she is entertaining everyone in Heaven now with her sweet nature. My sincerest condolences to all family members and friends for Nancy's loss. Nancy was truly one of a kind.
