Not sure what to say?

I remember Nancy when she was in the third grade at Dixboro Elementary School. I was only 5, and starting kindergarten, and a very shy little boy, and my mother took me out to the juncture of Vorhies Road and Plymouth Rd (U. S. 12, and a very dangerous highway) and turned me over to Nancy. Holding Nancy's hand we walked to the little red school house for my first day of school.

Sorry for your .my prayers and thoughts .nancy is a great lady

Over a month has passed and I still can't believe that she is gone.I couldn't have asked for a more patient , loving , honest grandma. Her kind and loving spirit will always be inside me . We really lucked out with such a wonderful person in our lives. We miss you always.

"Nancy was a sweet lady and will be missed. Her entire family are in my thoughts and prayers."

My sincere condolences to the entire Winchester family.

Just a happy note to add to your memories. I knew Nancy as a kindergarten ballerina when we appeared together for the Sylvia Studio of Dance recital as winged fairies. We connected briefly awhile ago on Facebook and laughed about it.

For Nancy, "class" came naturally. I believe God expresses a special interest in creating teachers, like Nancy, who are uniquely compassionate and patient with our precious children. Later in life, Nancy's friendship with the late Tom Johnston was mutually beneficial in facing their senior health issues. I love the pair's smile in this photo! "Quite a teacher, Nancy, by all standards." Hebrews 11:1

All the family is in my prayers tonight and tomorrow.

Our thoughts and prayers are with all the Winchester families. Deepest sympathies to you. I remember her as such a gentle woman.

John/Nancy Winchester were a big part in my growing up and were kind and supportive to me as a child, teenager, young adult and a parent, I have fond memories of visiting with her parents on Sunnyside drive Ann Arbor. May they both rest in peace and join each other again in heaven.
