Not sure what to say?

DEAR DEBRA AND MELANIE,

I AM CORRESPONDING FROM SOUTH CAROLINA. I WAS SORRY TO LEARN OF THE PASSING OF YOUR MOTHER. IT IS HARD TO MENTION NANCY WITHOUT MENTIONING YOUR FATHER, IN THE SAME BREATH. THEY WERE BOTH EXCEPTIONAL TEACHERS AND CHALLENGED STUDENTS TO REACH THEIR POTENTIAL. IN ALL THEIR YEAR'S OF TEACHING, NEITHER EVER HAD A DISCIPLINE PROBLEM. THERE ARE MANY YOUNG LIVES, WHO HAVE BEEN TOUCHED, BY STUDENTS WHO WERE LUCKY TO BE IN THEIR CLASSROOMS. NANCY EXUDED ENTHUSIASM IN...

I'd like to let all who loved Mrs. Wingert know what a positive difference she must have made in so many lives. I had Mrs. Wingert for one year when I was in 6th grade at Good Hope, so I didn't know her very long or very well. It was her last year of teaching before retirement. She wrote me a note on a post-it note that I still have and cherish 15 years later. She built me up and gave me confidence!

I came to know Nancy & Rob when they would come to PASR in Mechanicsburg for meetings, to pickup materials or just stopped by to visit with staff. Both were an asset to the association & its Members, and a blessing to those who had the good fortune to know them, personally. Nancy & I kept in touch through e-mail after she could no longer come to the office, and I will miss her, dearly. May God comfort her family & friends with His Presence and grant strength through the coming days by...

It is written that there was to angels that pass my way and showed me how a loving family's are. May God keep you all safe and hold on to what mama gave yull, a heart of goodness. Much respect ladies. From ...

Mrs Wingert was a great support for her students, kind and giving; I was very fortunate to have had her as a teacher.

My heartfelt sympathy to the entire Family. I met both Nancy and Bob through my empolyment at PASR headquarters. A more supportive, caring and generous person you'd be hardpressed to find. I truly treasure all of the conversations we had, both professionally and on a personal note. My thoughts and prayers are with each of you.

Two of my daughters had Mrs. Wingert as a gifted students teacher at Good Hope. She encouraged them to explore their interests and I always felt that she genuinely cared about her students. We need more teachers like her! She always spoke of her daughters and how proud she was of them. I hope they know their mother had an impact on many lives.

Christ is Risen!

Dear Melanie & Deb,

My Deepest Sympathy for the loss of your Mother. Although it was just a short time in caring for her it was evident she was a very high-spirited person with great strength and courage. I am privileged to have met her. It's clear that her legacy lives on in both of you.
