Nan´s organization as a teacher always amazed me, along with her attention to detail. She was a fantastic colleague and mentor. I loved hearing about her Gourmet Food group, gardening and stories from her days working in the hospital, and her knitting and sewing skills. Nancy was a close friend in High School and had recently reached out to me during the COVID epidemic. I have fond memories of walking together to the swimming pool and getting together with our potluck group. I marveled at her intelligence and ability to sew clothes from her own patterns. She had a great sense of humor and infectious laugh and will be greatly missed. My condolences to all family members.

Nan was a veteran teacher when I had my first job as a school site administrator. She took time during her prep to discuss curriculum with me. She was always knowledgeable about her students. I admired her and learned from her.
