Nancy Wooten Obituary

Nancy V. Wooten, 85, of Benton, passed away Feb. 1, 2016. She was born in Little Rock on June 8, 1930, to Thomas Holland and Frances Bowles.
Nancy worked in the Little Rock Mayor's office for 28 years. She was a member of Old Union Baptist Church in Benton where she also served as treasurer.
Nancy lived on a farm which allowed her to express her love of taking care of animals.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Thomas Elton Wooten, two sisters and one brother.
She is survived by her children, one grandson, two nieces and one nephew.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m., Friday, Feb. 5, at Oakland Cemetery in Little Rock
Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 4, at Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth, 5800 West 12th Street in Little Rock.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Saline County Humane Society and/or any animal shelter.
