Not sure what to say?

Played basketball with Don at Stanislaus State back in 1970.

Judie and Family, Please accept my condolences on your loss. I am saddened to see that he was experiencing health issues in his last time. Hospice is indeed a blessing. I will remember him in my regular gifts to support the work they do. I came to OLF in 1989 and "Mr. Brimmer" was assigned as my mentor. I had concerns about teaching 6th graders as they were so young and he gave me advice that I have used throughout my career. "Keep 'em busy working." Mr. Brimmer took his time...

So sorry to read about your loss, Scott. Your father sounds like a wonderful man - and a fellow teacher. Hope you and your family are still thriving in beautiful Japan.

Dear Judie and family, I am so sorry for your loss. My heart is with you as you move through the painful days ahead. I pray you find peace knowing Don is with our Lord and Savior. He was a good man.

I was lucky enough to have Mr. Brimmer as my eighth grade teacher and basketball coach. So many great lessons taught in the classroom and on and off the court. About a decade after that, I was lucky enough to have him as a golfing buddy. We played `Dryden National´ quite often, but we regularly ventured out to other courses. We also got to go out to some fantastic dinners with our wives. He played many roles in my life, but the one I like best is that he called me a friend.

Dearest Judie, Jennifer, and Scott, I am deeply saddened to hear about the passing of your husband and father. Mr. Brimmer was truly my favorite teacher of all time - high school, college, and graduate school - no one matched him in terms of their impact on me. I will forever remember him for so many reasons. His sense of humor....and confidence to not only good naturedly rib one of his students, but to just as easily take the joke when meted out by one of his young charges. His...

We will miss you, Mr. Brimmer. You were a wonderful teacher.

Condolences to Don's wife Judie and family. Saddened to learn of friend Don's passing. Met him in our college days. Will remember him for his love of competition in basketball, tennis, handball, and particularly for his smile.

My condolences to your family. My Granddaughter just asked me about you as she attends OLF now. You were a wonderful teacher, coach and mentor. You left a legacy at OLF and it will forever remain. May God bless your family and may you rest in peace. Mary Gray (but you would just call me Gray)
