Not sure what to say?

I taped on VHS tapes every show I could find in the 1990's. My husband just died of pancreatic cancer and I had to downsize/pare down/pack/move and now unpack and settle in. I threw out so many of my clothes (many I made). I got rid of many VHS tapes. But here I am looking at two bins of VHS tapes I taped. I am glad they did not get thrown out with so much of my other stuff (including sewing notions/trims and a ton of fabric). I had to leave so quickly I had no way of selling or...

Inspiring autographed "Seams Unlikely" gift uplifts my spirits. "A Song, A Prayer, A Free Spirit" ~ Janet York Marquez :-)

You were such an inspiration in my own love of sewing and crafting and also your philantrophy. Rest in peace.

My mom and her mom were big fans of Nancy´s. She instilled a love of sewing in them. For many years, they made the trip up from SE Wisconsin to Beaver Dam for a special sewing weekend. It was a pilgrimage for them. I remember going along once as a kid. Nancy brought so much joy to not only their lives but the lives of so many others. If her family is reading this, thank you for sharing Nancy with the world. She was a class act.

I just finished reading her book, "Seams Unlikely". and highly recommend it to anyone who has ever watched her shows. She was such a great person. I learned much about sewing from her excellent series. My heart goes out to her sons and family.

Nancy was impressive in so many ways. I loved watching her shows over and over again. I have many of her books but watching her teach and talk with her guests made me feel good and wish she lived next door so we could be friends! I am so sad for the loss of Nancy and I wish the family well.

i just learned of nancy's passing so many yrs ago! i was raised on a family dairy farm, and my mother-a master seamstress, from the city, made all her own clothes and my 2 sisters. so bought a singer machine at walmart and started to hem my dress jeans. the ladies at walmart told me to watch nancy's shows on pbs, am canadian so did, and did my jeans and ventured to making long pants into shorts-and my momma noticed and asked who taught me to sew, just said i watched nancy's shows and she...

I'm a man and I don't sew. But for some reason I enjoyed watching the show. Her personality and her interaction with her guests reminded me of some of my teachers in elementary and middle school. They and she were truly inspirational.
