The world has lost a special person. I met Nan when she sought me out when she took the job for the City of Naperville early in her career, as I had previously held the same job. It was always fun to share lunch with her and talk over the projects we were working on, and challenges we faced. She accomplished much in her life, and will be missed by many people.

Nan hired me to be her intern back in Woodridge in 1991. She was a true influence on me and many others. The obituary is spot on, and the world is better for having had Nan. Rest In Peace, friend.

I am so sad to hear of Nan´s passing. It was always great to see her at reunions and we had a few chances to talk over the years regarding her engineering and public works efforts in the Chicago area. My prayers are with the family.

So sad to hear of Nan's passing. I first met her when we both served on the DuPage County Municipal Engineer's Committee during the drafting of the original Stormwater Management Ordinance We crossed paths many times since then and she was always a delight.
