Not sure what to say?

To The Quinn and Lanigan families,
I was heartbroken to hear of Nanette's passing. She was a wonderful teacher and became a wonderful friend after my time at St. Mary's. She had an infectious laugh that was so refreshing. I enjoyed going to Paris with her twice as a French student. After I graduated, I often stopped by campus to see her. She has never been far from my thoughts. The memories that I have will live on forever. To Danny, Patrick, and Kelly - I will continue to pray for...

It was my privilege, joy, and delight to have been Nanette's French teacher at St. Agnes Academy during her four years there. Nanette became an instant Francophile--a lover of all things French--from the first "Bonjour". Always eager to learn, to master, to share, she lit up my classroom, my life, and the lives of all those with whom she came in contact.

When Nanette was a senior, she was one of three students that I accompanied to France for two weeks. Along with Beth Hogan and...

My husband Tony always spoke so highly of the Lannigan family! Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

My thoughts and prayers are with you - Nanette was a wonderful friend and Kappa sister at LSU - I see that she continued to bring joy and laughter into the lives of many people.

Danny, Kelly and Patrick,
We knew Nanette through Chrysti and spent lots of fun evenings with her. We moved home to Louisville in 2001 but got updates on Nanette through Chrysti. Please know that Nanette and you guys are in our prayers and thoughts.

I was stopped in my tracks when Mom told me of Madame Quinn's passing. I cherish my memories of her as my English teacher in 4th grade, then my French teacher in High School. I also got to experience a wonderful trip to Paris with Madame Quinn. My prayers and thoughts are for the friends and family who grieve for her loss. She will always be in my heart.

To Danny, Patrick, and Kelly,
I was so sorry to hear about Nanette. She was a dear person and I know you all will miss her terribly. My families thoughts and prayers are with you all.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

To the family of Nanette Quinn,

My daughters, Katie and Elspeth Runyan, were both students of Nanette at St. Mary's.
I have heard many stories from the girls about Madame Quinn--all of them tinged with love, respect, and humor. Her influence as an educator, mentor, and friend is incalcuable. God bless her for her work, courage, and example. She was a role model to every young life she touched.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
