Please accept my condolences, the death of a mother is very great loss and the pain cuts deep. Please remember that she is always with you and that she is with God. I am very grateful for sharing more than one lovely Christmas dinner with Mrs. McDaniel and your family. I hope the love in your heart and the memories will carry you through each day.

To the Family of the Late Mrs. Nannie McDaniel:

My heart was saddened this morning as I learned of the death of your beloved Mother. She was such a wonderful and caring lady. I admired her so much. I looked forward to seeing her smiling face on Sunday morning at Zion Baptist Church. I am grateful to her for extending an invitation to me to become a member of the Petersburg Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta. My prayer is that God will continue to keep each of you in His care.
