Not sure what to say?

My prayers for you and Mr. Pete, always.

Dear Auntie,
You always made me feel as if I was one your boys wHen I came to your home or when we would meet at parties. I did not know then that you were teaching me how to treat others. You did a great job because I treated all the kids I coached that way and to this day they are happy to see me as I was when whenever I saw you. It is no surprise that the food bank garden was important to you, so Tammy and I are sending a donation in your name. It is a pittance compared to all...

You were always nice and kind to me. God bless you.

Auntie Antolin

It brings a smile to my face every time I think about you and Uncle Pete. Your loving relationship and postwar struggles resulted in five wonderful and successful children who will carry on your legacy of kindness and understanding. I have great memories of the times I was able to spend time at your home in Lakewood and how you always treated me as one of the kids. So what can I say about an incredible woman and mother that all of us who have known you have not...

I will always cherish the holidays and gathering with grandma. My favorite moments were right when we would get to a gathering and everyone would line up to give grandma a hug and the same line forming when grandma would leave. She always encouraged us to do our best and to work hard. I will miss these moments but will not forget them, I love you grandma!

Mom visited our family in Tokyo in June 1988. She had a wonderful time and we enjoyed having her with us!

I miss Grandma so much and will always remember her saying to me, “Cammy work hard and go to good school and make grandma happy.”
I wanted to work so hard to earn one of grandma’s magnets and admiration. I remember EVERY time I’d come over she would immediately make or bring out food too! She was the first to show me just how good an Almond Roca was! One day Grandma gave me her Junior Mints fridge magnet and I was so happy that she was happy through my hard work. I will miss her warm...

So happy my Mother-in-Law, Naomi, endured the trials of war, escaping with my wife to be, Nancy, from North Korea. The journeys they made finally arriving in Lakewood would allow me to meet my future wife 47 years ago. My thoughts are with all the children and grandchildren that are here to celebrate her life of sacrifice for so many. Thank you again for your perseverance Mom. Your son-in-law, Jerry
