Naomi Jean Moddrell

A classmate of mine sent me this notice of Naomi Jean. Naomi sounds like such a lovely woman and mother who meant so much to so many. I was born in Lyons, Ks and my Grandparents were Lester & RosaDell Moddrell, I know we are related. I was touched & moved from Edward Blincoe´s memory and felt compelled to respond. My mother and dad introduced Jeannie and Joe. Mom grew up in Hutch with Jeannie and Dad was Joe´s college roommate. We´d often spend Christmas or Thanksgiving at the Moddrell´s. We´d sing around the piano with Grammy and Aunt Frida playing strider flourishes and do all the festive seasonal tunes. It was a candlelight serenade of off tune singers with full stomachs and happy hearts. I am now 70. Those memories have kept me warm and grateful every day of my life. Good bye Aunt Jeanno. I will...
