Our sincere condolences to the family of the great Coach Cobb. I met Coach Cobb when in college I ran against his amorphous teams. They were strong and represented his trading acumen. Fast forward 25 + years and my daughters Erin and Kia runs for Southwest Dekalb High. The girls team wins 3 straight State titles and more after her graduation. What a ride! I am Lester Mickens sister Lavonia I have lots of memories of Coach Cobb when I was younger I remember him always picking my Brother up for track practice and calling to see if he was in bed before their big meet, he was a father to all the students he came in contact with fly high. I salute you Mr Cobb your shoes are to big to fill. I will cherish it all Thank you for being a stand up Man You will be missed by all.
