Natale F. Grasso, age, 84 of Fairfield, the beloved husband of the late Stella M. Nosal Krawiec Grasso passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 2, 2013. He was born in Bridgeport to the late Gabriel and Mary Russo Grasso. Natale was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. Following his service he worked for the Stratfield Hotel and Bridgeport Hydraulic Company.
Natale is survived by his devoted children, Richard Krawiec and his wife, Diane of Cheshire, Gerard Grasso and his wife, Jayne of Bristol, and Sofia Malinics of Southbury. He will also be missed by his loving grandchildren, Lisa Bostrom of Greenfield, MA, R. Andrew Krawiec of Florence, SC, Jared, Joshua, and Sarah Grasso all of Bristol and Michael and Philip Malinics of Southbury; great-grandchildren, Kristopher and Andrew Bostrom, Morgan Leigh and Lauren Julianna Krawiec; sisters, Jean Czakowski of Trumbull, Connie Deszo of Trumbull and Linda Sorrentino of Stratford. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his brother, Ermine Grasso.
Friends are invited to attend the funeral on Thursday, June 6, 2013 at 10 a.m. directly at Our Lady of the Assumption Church for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment with Military Honors will follow in Oak Lawn Cemetery. Friends may greet the family on Wednesday, June 5, 2013 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Shaughnessey Banks Funeral Home, 50 Reef Rd. in Fairfield Center.

Dear Grasso family, I worked with Nat for many years at Aquarion Co. (formerly BHC) what a great man he was. He was always kind and caring and we all had many laughs at work with him. I am very sorry for your loss. He will be missed.
