My heartfelt condolences to the family during this difficult time. I hope you will find comfort in God's promise at John 11:24&25. Knowing that there is a future for the one we have lost in death can be so reassuring

Dear Barnard family,
You do not know me but you had my son, Elder Garrett Fisher, over for dinner about two years ago. He heard about Natalie's tragic death and told us about her within a few minutes of returning home last week. We want to express our deepest sympathy for your family. Natalie was a wonderful sister and it is because of devoted missionaries like her that I was converted to the church. You are in our thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time. May you feel the...

I would like to express my sincere condolences to the family. Losing a loved one, especially in a sudden and tragic manner, brings grief that may at times seem unbearable. As you cherish the memories, may you find comfort in the promise at 2 Kings 20:5, "I have heard your prayer. I have seen your tears. I am healing you."

Natalie was there with Ashley when she opened her mission call. Natalie also came to Ashley's farewell, and we had the opportunity to meet your daughter then. She told us how excited she was to be preparing for her own mission. Our daughters kept up their friendship while serving,...

Dear Barnard Family,
I shared many wonderful interactions with Natalie during her first year at BYU. As her fist bishop I was always amazed at the positive, powerful impact she had on so many in our ward. When others were struggling or discouraged, she was always there with a loving hand, a positive word, and that infectious smile and laugh that buoyed spirits almost instantly. Her love of the Savior was evident in all aspects of her life - she was an example of a true woman of Christ....
