Worked with Joan at Northridge. One of my fondest moments was a conference several of us attended overnight. There was a knock at my door and there was Joan dressed like Elvis with a boom box playing an Elvis song. Side burns and all! She knew I was an Elvis fan. What fun and great memories. Thoughts and prayers are with the family during this difficult time.
