I would like to add to my memories of Nat(h)alie Babel Brown, a kind, sincere, caring, smiling, friendly woman of a similar family descent to me, whom I met at Barnard College in the 1960s, my sympathy and best wishes to her son and both granddaughters. Natalie Babel was a colleague at Barnard College of my mother, Prof. T.W. Greene. When mother introduced her to me, she was very sincere, kind, therefore friendly and with a lovely natural smile. We met in the early 1960s. It is clear that her father who died when she was a child, had a positive, kind and encouraging effect on her. I wish I had known her better and that she had lived longer.
