He is survived by his devoted mother, Addie Allen; two sisters, Juanita Robinson and Genita Allen; five brothers, Thomas, James (Kenny), Jerome and Howard Allen and Robert Pegram; fiancee, Luritha Carter; stepson, James Carter III; and a host of other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Mimms Funeral Home, 1827 Hull Street. Funeral service will be held Friday, August 13, 12 noon, Hollywood Baptist Church, 3764 Old Buckingham Road, Powhatan, Rev. Otis Lockhart Jr., pastor, officiating. Interment church cemetery.
