Dear Mrs Frenkel,
I always enjoyed your visits to the library with your husband. Mr Frenkel always had a smile and an interesting bit of conversation. He will be missed by many. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Marilyn,
I was very sorry to hear of Nathan's death. He was in my American History I class at CPCC last year, and I've never had a more enjoyable student. I also appreciated the fact that he asked me to speak at a Senior Scholars gathering, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The world is definitely a better place for Nathan having been here. I also feel that I am a better person for having known him.You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Marilyn, I knew Nathan through Senior Scholars. He was such an interesting person and he will be missed "at the back table" every Tuesday morning. My depest sympathy to you.

Marilyn, My husband, Ray Miller and I were so sorry to learn that Nathan had passed away. We were his "pinochle buddies" at the Senior Center. Nathan was an interesting person with lots of human interest stories with some funny ones thrown in from time to time. I purchased your collage of the city buildings/scenes from Nat for my daughter. Marilyn I'm so sorry you must endure the pain of Nathan's death. More than most you two shared your time and lives together doing what you both loved. I hope you continue doing what you love; your art and your photography. My thoughts and prayers are with you. There are many who were touched by Nathan and his legacy is that you carry on the good work. The theatres of Charlotte are grateful for having had the "team," but I know they are grateful you are still here. I am.
