Not sure what to say?

I am a graduate of KHS and a recipient of the Kendig Cup. My dad was extremely proud that I received this honor as he had such wonderful memories of Mr. Kendig and held him in high regard.

Mr. Kendig was a wonderful teacher and person. He was a role model to many students as well as fellow teachers. The days I was at Kennett High School were enhanced by Mr. Kendig's presence. Even years later, he knew who I was. His fortitude is to be admired. May God bless him and his family .

Mr. Kendig is, now 50 years later, a standout memory of my years at KCS. He was a good teacher, a fine coach, and a patient and decent man to us young people as we floundered through.

Thank you Mr. Nate for your help in High school
Thomas L. Nocho class of 1980. May God be with you and your family

My condolences to Mr. Kendig's family. Mr. Kendig was a man I greatly admired and respected. He served as a role model and inspiration to me as a boy, and he continues to inspire me. He encouraged me to succeed and push myself to be better at everything I did, and I never wanted to disappoint him. I will never forget the day he took me aside and told me he was proud of me. I don't think I have a more fond memory of high school. He remains an inspiration to me to this day. I am sorry...

Our condolences to the Kendig Family. Mr. Kendig was an inspirational coach and teacher, who had a lasting impact on all of us who were fortunate enough to know him. It's been almost 50 years since we last saw him in the halls of Kennett High, but we have remembered him often and fondly through the years, and always will.

To Kevin, Terry, Dave and Mrs. Kendig, the Gatti family sends their deepest condolences. No memory of Kennett High would be complete without a thought of Nate Kendig. There was never any doubt that he was "The Boss". He always carried himself with class.

Our deepest sympathy to the Kendig family. Mr. Kendig was a very caring person. He was the best history teacher and basketball coach at Kennett High School. He taught us history using his life experiences to make history come alive to us. He will be greatly missed.

My condolences to the members of the Kendig family. I had the privilege of being a student of Mr. Kendig's at Kennett High. My understanding of United States History was shaped by him. Every time I think of him, I cam hear him saying "Andy Jackson was fightin' mad, and the people knew it." He was one of the great group of teachers at Kennett High who led me to make teaching my profession. Please know that you are all in the thoughts and prayers of many whose lives he touched.
