Not sure what to say?

Our condolences to the Sepulveda/Lumm family. My family remembers the tragic event in November of 1958 and have read the book "Death Clouds on Mt. Baldy" by Cathy Hufault. Ronnie was such a brave young boy and he saved two other scouts and because of the search two airmen were also saved who were trapped in the snow up on the mountain. Ronald lived a wonderful life as described in the beautifully written obituary. May he Rest In Peace. Cynthia Matus Morriss Matus and Morriss family...

Our deepest condolences for the loss of your father. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Love, Campillo family

You and the family must be heart broken about your father´s passing. Kay and I are so sorry for your loss. The obituary was beautiful and how he used what happened to guide him through out his life was amazing. If I ever get out to Tucson, I would like to take that hike with you to the memorial. Dominic, I do not participate in social media. Sorry about your father´s passing he sounded like a wonderful gentleman. My family and I spoke of the sad event when they were with me for years, all passed away now. Very vivid in my mind to this day You can simply contact me through my email? [email protected] and we will be able to communicate and I will give you my phone number then. Blessings to you and your family, Jennifer

Jennifer, I am one of Ron's sons, Dominic Lumm. We would very much like to talk to you about your memories of that day. I don't want to put my personal contact information here but you can find me on Instagram, LinkedIn, or Facebook. A couple of my siblings still live in Tucson but I now live in North Carolina. I hope this message gets to you and you are doing well. Thank you, Dominic

I am very sad to hear of Ron's death. I spoke with him at length at a high school reunion about fencing and was so amazed at what an interesting and accomplished man he was. What in incredible life!

I am so sorry for your loss. Thank you for sharing that important event in his life that shaped him for a far greater purpose. I never met him but I remember that tragic event so many years ago. A life well lived. God bless you all as you go through this grief process.

Heartfelt sympathy to the Lumm family. My mother and I were there the tragic day of beloved Boy Scout troop that perished. Witnessed your dad walking barefoot in the snow. I was a youngster and recall the tragedy well. My family were pioneer Madera Canyon folks. Had a rustic cabin for many generations. If interested I would like to share my memories on that tragic day that changed the lives of many families. Your father sounded like a wonderful gentleman that lived his life well.

It is with great sadness that I learned of Ron's passing. He was a great friend and handball partner/competitor. I will miss him. My heart goes out to Maggie and all his family. Tim
