My heart fell when I received a letter from Hiscock&Barclay regarding the estate of Nathan Ostroff.

Never did I meet with Nate that he didn't have a smile on his face for me, financial/leagal help in his hand for me, and most especilly an update on his kids - delivered with warm enthusiasm and the "proud dad" twinkle in his eye.

My life is better because I knew Nate. It is a bit more sad, now that he is gone.

I met Nathan when he came to Niagara University in 1982 or 1983 to inquire about the Computer and Information Sciences Degree and Certificate programs. Nathan eventually enrolled in the 30 Hour Certificate program and completed it in two yers, I believe. Nathan was an exemplary student, expected of such a talented and learned lawyer. He was always a delight at our informal gatherings and parties. He will be a loss to his family and friends, I am certain. We kept up a correspondence at...
