Not sure what to say?

I listened to Emily's come follow me message today to be not afraid and to be not discouraged, and I learned of their plight with Nathan. I had hoped for something contrary to what I suspected and after doing a little searching here have now confirmed my suspicions. I don't really know what to say aside from that I feel your pain and applaud and thank you Emily for continuing to march forward, spreading the gospel message of love and hope. I believe in this hope with every fiber of my...

So sorry to hear of Nate's passing. Sending you so much love. Carole

I did not know the Peterson family; even so, my wife and I were so uplifted and blessed by the Spirit we felt as we watched the service for Nathan online from California... What a beautiful family... God bless you all....

sending love and condolences to such a wonderful family. I hope solace is found in their deep love for the Lord. God Bless you all

I only met Bishop Peterson when I came to visit my daughter. BUT he was that special kind of bishop who greeted new people and made them feel so welcome to be in the meetings. I am praying for all of you during this really hard time in your lives. You have lost a special person from your life and I know it hurts. However, Heavenly Father is there and Jesus Christ. They know your pain and will comfort you better than anyone. Just keep trusting in Heavenly Father's plan!

Emily and family, I´m so sorry to hear of Nathan´s passing. I´m praying for you all. I´m just so sorry. I love you Emily. Regs

I loved how Nathan would bring his children at Christmas and visit my mom (LoisWeston) She loved that. Thank you for being such a beautiful thoughtful family. Prayers for all of you!!

Nathan was kind to everyone. His example of Christlike love mirrored that of his parents Sonja and Dennis. He was a leader, friend, and great example to all his classmates in Cupertino. Gone too soon but his sweetness to all will live on to those who knew him. God bless his dear wife, children, siblings, parents and all those close to him!!

I will cherish my interactions with Nathan Petersen. Although he was my bishop, he was much more than that. He was a true friend. He taught me so much. He lived an exemplary life in how to be a devoted husband, father, and servant. Like Zoram to Nephi in the Book of Mormon (see 2 Nephi 1:30), I consider Nathan Peterson to be my "true friend . . . forever."
