NATHAN ALLEN RILEY

Nathan Allen Riley, 85, died Monday Dec. 26, 2016 at his home in Belton MO. The son of Nathan Arthur Riley and Emily (Willott Riley) Bevens. He was born and raised in MO with his 8 siblings were he worked on the family farm before entering the Army in 1948. He shipped off to S Korea in 1950 and returned with a Bronze Star with Valor and a Purple Heart for his service during the war. Later in life he enjoyed spending time with his family, had a passion for horses, volunteered in many VA orgs and spent time with vets at the VA Hospital. He leaves his wife of 66 years, Wilma (Longley) Riley; sons Michael and Kenneth; daughters Sandra Wallace, Donna Hamerle, and Rebecca McMahon, their spouses and 22 grand & great grandchildren. Visitation 10-11 am, Funeral service 11:00 am Friday, Dec. 30 at Heartland Baptist Church 810 Cedar, Belton.
