Nathan W. "Nate" Ritchie

I have had the chance to work with Nate on few programming projects in the past. From the few phone chats and some e-mail corresponding we had, I found him to be a very energetic and ambitious person in addition to being very friendly. I really liked working with him and was looking forward to work with him again. During our phone conversations, he always laughed and put me at ease.

This passage from scripture has always been very comforting to me. "For none of us lives to himself alone, and none of us dies to himself alone. If we live, we live to the Lord; and if we die, we die to the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord." Romans 14: 7-8

Nate was a great friend. I only wish I had kept in touch. My thoughts go out to his family. Nate helped me through a lot of things and we shared a lot of things late into the night. Nate, you will definitely be missed.

I am also a PayPal employee and did not have the pleasure of knowing your son. As a parent I can't imagine the pain of losing a child. I am so sorry for your family's loss. You are in my prayers.
